Quickest 25 Mins

Its the quickest 25 mins of my life, I swear!

The BF was supposed to be at the airport at 5.30am (yes! I kid you not, I actually agreed to wake up that early). He set the alarm at 4.30am, and would wake me up then. Guess what, he came in in total blurness - "Darling, I screwed up.. its 5.50am already.."

I was like WTF?! That moment I thought something else took over me, coz:-
- I just jumped outta bed, literally! I never do this even if I was late for my flight lol.

- I went on to get dressed in under a min. This coming from a woman who whines about what to wear each time she steps out of the house. Hey I match my sandals even just to get the mails...

- I never ever get out of the house without washing my hair. Never. Though I sport a pixie, the bed has the ability to flatten out my hair and I'd looked like an ultraman each time. Guess what? Today is my first! Grabbed a hair band and slicked it back..

Come to think of it, I'm so proud I bought the hair band in Bangkok. Lol I used tolimit hair band usage to the bathroom, when I wash my face or put on a mask... I just got myself an excuse to stock up in reds, blues, greens... you name it. Goneh case...

- And then I grabbed his luggages (thank god he is a light packer), passport, wallet, phone and off we drove to the airport like mad. The BF - if you're reading this - you're paying for the speed ticket if any, ya know...

In the midst of rushing, he suddenly burst out laughing and said he has never seen me get ready so bloody fast.. Lol dang...

So off I dropped him at 6.15am... glad that he could make it and slowly drove back, calming down my mind. Whoa.. so do I get back and continue sleeping? Its been ages since I'm up this early.

I guess you know what I did instead, blogging this off my mind haha. While enjoying the crisp morning view.. my goodness its so refreshing, gorgeous gorgeous view that I've taken for granted for a long long time.

I can sense heavy rain is visiting soon.. the strong wind has been here all night. It feels like autumn smile And I hear my bed calling my name....

Yummies for My Dogger

Recently when I went shopping for some dog treats I came across this:

Chicken and Veggies - so healthy right?
They costs about RM2.80 each. Each packet can lasts 2 meals, but my precious was getting all excited, so he gobbled it up in one meal hehe.

Smelt so nice, tasty. I mixed with some hot water to warm it up.

There are other variants too, so will post up some pics soon.

Simple Things Make Me Happy

Its true.. sometimes unknowingly I'd be happier when I come across lil things that my loved ones do for me..

When The BF came back from his hometown with a freshly plucked coconut.
Yepp he can climb hahaha, he's my pet monkeh *winks*

When you have a super creative mom like mine, you'd get really cute pouches from her arts and crafts skills.. If only I can knit like Momma...

When The Brother teases me mercilessly over my love for "stupid dolls" and then rushed to get me a few goodies; and post them back to me :)

Gorgeous pouch for my gorgeous phone! ;)

Perhaps..

Its 7.28pm on a Friday evening.. guess what am I doing?
Instead of frantically packing and leave for home, I'm actually lounging at my office cubicle, absent-mindedly just browsing sites...

Work was done at 6pm... why am I not excited about going home?
I should be, right?
I mean, anyone would be dying to go home, right?

Perhaps, I want to avoid the massive Friday evening traffic?
Perhaps, I just need to wind down by surfing for another limited edition face powder? Or sit just looking at a picture of a cute puppy?
Perhaps...
       I've gone insane? ...

Eruption..

So today I finally told the chief chef off.
You can't always take my salmon away and replace it with a sardine. And expect me to sell the nutritional value of a salmon!

And when my plate is full, while you're fully aware of it; kept having to hand me more brocolli, carrots, gravy and whats not.

I'm full, can't take in anymore food. I'm not complaining but yet you kept placing food on my plate - I'm fit to eat more alright. But I'm growing a tummy, you just didn't notice and because I kept quiet about it.

But not today!
So your Korean Chef can't cope... and you're desperate for help.
I've never tried salmon Korean style, but I'll give it a shot.

Just never assume I'm sold to the restaurant.
One more sardine and I'll show you how to break a plate.

Wild Night..

As the wind slaps thru the blinds...
The rain berating the windows, ferociously..
In sync with the spirit drums thumping in the background..
My vision blurred..

Yet I feel so safe, and calm.. in my little modest hut,
Watching nature cleansing from far..

The cool breeze envelopes me..
Washing away the cares and worries of the day..
Instantly refreshed!

I breathe in the cleansed air,
Ahhh serenity..
I smile softly.. life should be this..
Lived, Let Flow, Revived!

I pray silently..
May those out there find shelter,
May those in thirst quench it to heart's desire..
May everyone live and love..

I don't know about you, but I have always been a victim of static shock.

Getting out from the car - ZAP!

Shutting down my laptop lid - ZAP!
Opening the office door - ZAP!

Opening the post office door - ZAP!

Ok, JUST OPENING ANY DOOR with metal handle - ZAP ZAP ZAP!

It came to a point where I dreaded getting out from the car or opening any doors. I'd use my forefinger to push the car window to close the door, leaving prints on it hehe.

Or I'll rush in when someone opens the door... sigh desperate!

Till one day Momma gave me a battery and asked me to keep it with me. I was puzzled. She then told me the battery would be able to help keep me away from being zapped.

I was a lil doubtful at first... after all I can never be  too careful right?
But its true.. I haven't been zapped for some time now... (touch wood).

Here are some more ways that I found from the internet:

~ Keep our skin moisturized. Use a hydrating lotion. Yippie I could do this!

~ Hold on to a coin.

~ When you are ready to step out of the car, remain seated, but place one foot on the ground, the other foot should still be in the car. Hold onto the metal part of the car door or any metal part of the car. Keep holding on until you are out of the car, then close the car door.

Hope these help :)
